Anytime you get youth involved in the creative process and get them out expressing, creating, and performing Wyoming Out Loud is sure to appreciate. Inspiring the next generation and embracing the wave of change that they come with is key to developing a thriving community.

David Street Station has done a fantastic job embracing the creatives in our community and it’s taking the next steps in doing the same for the youth in Casper. With the help of Casper College the Creative Art and Music Festival-Created by youth, for youth! was a beautiful show of support for our young entrepreneurial spirits and creative souls.

Giving the kids a chance to learn all of the ins and outs of running a vendor booth and the intrinsic difficulty of the wind in Wyoming was a great opportunity to test everyone’s determination. The joy of sharing their skills, be it creation or performance was evident in all of the artists showing their dedication.
A band of veterans nearly opened the show, ‘Golden Sands’ has been playing shows around here for years and is a spectacular example of what can be created in a community that fosters creativity within itself. These young adults have forged a great path from their time at VIBES Fine & Performing Arts into a force of a band ready to start traveling the state/region/world.

Never underestimate the power of your dreams. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other, and anything is possible. The future is BRIGHT for these kids that get started following their dreams and making positive moves for themselves early in their lives. We can’t wait to see how much better the future is with kids like these taking charge.
