Wiz Khalifa needs no introduction in nearly any part of the world that he travels to and Wyoming certainly heard the call when he scheduled a show at The Lincoln this summer! His Taylor Gang The World Tour stopped at some more intimate stops along the way to spread the word and check in on some communities that sometimes get overlooked in major national and world tours. The Lincoln and Wyoming were ready for the task and the beautiful venue packed tight full of fans new and old.
The Taylor Gang The World Tour brought along some great names in rap to join Wiz! DJ Bonics, Fedd The God and Chevy Woods opened the show with nearly no need to get the energy up. The energy and vibe in the room was way way up, Wyoming knows how to get down.
With a sold out show and a packed house at The Lincoln the anticipation for Wiz Khalifa to take the stage was HIGH, nobody else was though, promise. With two decades of hits to bring to Wyoming for the first time Wiz rocked the crowd through some of his greatest songs and some new tracks to keep the energy flowing.
This concert shows how incredibly varied the taste and ability to appreciate a whole gamut of music there is in Wyoming. Hip Hop can sell in Wyoming, on a Wednesday, when it takes itself seriously and markets itself well.
