If you’ve followed Shakey since his days carrying an acoustic guitar around you may understand how incredible the luck was to catch him for an ‘intimate’ Tuesday night show at The Lincoln! Even on a week night the line stretched well around the corner of the block as the doors opened. The folks at The Lincoln and the community in Cheyenne have something figured out and it’s great to see a venue being the pulse of downtown even on a work night!

Tuesday’s show was opened up by ‘Tyler Ballgame’ out of L.A. who does nothing short of astound the crowd with a range of vocals and expression seldom seen since 1973. The vibes in the venue were surging as the crowd filled to near sold out capacity, it probably sold out at the door, this show was not one to miss!

Shakey Graves took the stage to play his ‘And The War Came’ record in it’s entirety for it’s 10th Anniversary and mesmerized everyone with the nuance to his musicality. Shakey definitely fits in the soundscape of Wyoming but he brings something from all of his influences to his music that is infinitely appreciable. Deep songs, heart warming tunes, it all came together for a magical night we’re certainly going to be waiting a couple of weekends to be able to top.

A special treat afforded to the great folks of Ol WYO was Shakey’s wife and mother of his new baby being on stage with him and sharing some really beautiful moments that, well some things are best left private. Y’all are doin’ great from all we can see, Thanks for stoppin’ by.
