Every year about this time you can expect a visit to Ol’ Caspertown from one of our state’s holders of the Honky Tonk. Chancey Williams has been bringing us together for a fine western time since the days of the old Beacon Club. I’m not old enough to admit to any memories over there but boy that was a good room wasn’t it?!
This go ’round was a lot more tame and dare we say civilized when we got to check out The Rialto Theater for the first time since it’s been opened as a performance venue! The theater has been revamped with stylish lighting and a great overall vibe to make almost any event feel at home and marvelously sprinkled with charm.

It was a great scene for an intimate evening with some of Wyoming’s great performers on stage. The show was opened by Jared Rogerson another great Bronc rider turned musician. He took the stage, just a man and his guitar and wowed the sold out crowd with great stories of growing up a Rodeo kid in Wyoming. A perfect start to the evening.

The Rialto was packed for a sold out crowd as Chancey took the stage, joined by longtime guitar player Wyatt Springsteen and the lovely Casper WYO native Brooke Latka. Brooke’s Great-Grandma Sadie used to play piano for the movies at The Rialto back in 1922! This whole event was a treat with The Rialto primarily being used for comedy shows it’s not certain when we’ll be back in but the experience was fantastic! Chancey finished the show out to a room of cheer and applause, it feels right to rock The Rialto, just a little bit.

Check out the rest of the photos from the evening.
