Undoubtedly one of the most exciting things for Punk Rock in Wyoming and Caspertown in general is when Laramie WY based, Fat Wreck Chords veterans Teenage Bottlerocket come back home for a visit and to honor their brother and original drummer Brandon Carlisle. This the 9th celebration and 4th time through Oil City Beer Co. the recipe has been perfected, Teenage Bottlerocket consistently brings great bands and new friends for us all to appreciate for The Bash.
This year Casper’s own THE SHIVERZ opened up the show, an irreplaceable cog in Wyoming Punk Rock, THE SHIVERZ bring incredible energy to their creepshow set. Along with THE SHIVERZ, NYC’s ‘MakeWar’ and ‘MEST’ out of Illinois filled out a RAD lineup! Incredible energy out of all of the bands when this show was finally on a Friday night! As usual with Oil City Beer Co. the family friendly vibes were incredible and there were kids crowd surfing and joining the mosh pit all night, a great sign of the community we have here in Caspertown.
Friday night was packed full of incredible moments, truly one of the highlights of Wyoming Out Loud’s whole year. This one felt really special happening on a Friday and Oil City Beer Co. felt just right the whole night. Teenage Bottlerocket took the stage and brought the rest of the house down. A SOLD OUT show full of Punk Rock Family and Friends is just what we needed.
