On any given Wednesday night you might not know what you’re getting yourself into as a touring Punk Rock band finding yourself in Wyoming. The Brothels out of Austin, Texas found themselves smack dab in the middle of it at our home for things Odd, Loud, and Strange, Oil City Beer Company!
Opened up by our favorite local handydudes and band of musical masterminds Tow Truck Mike with a wild meld of grunge rock anthems to get the energy flowing as nicely as the brews. The show brought the passionate and the young out to feel the energy a real solid punk rock show brings.
The Brothels brought a splendid chaos to the stage that was hard to capture but super fun to move to. The passionate few in attendance were exposed to an energy we sadly have to travel to or save up of the weekend for too often anymore.
To the youth in attendance, if you find this, START A BAND, or just all go start playing the drums, we need drummers around here.
One band enjoying the trials of training a new drummer robot finished out the show, THE SHIVERZ brought the house down with another incredibly energetic set. The dudes really know how to put together a rager and even on a Wednesday there might have been a few too many brews consumed.
