September brings a hint of whats to come while offering the best of the season of growth we’ve just gone through. Holding on to the dog days of summer and getting to go out to The Bloomery for their biggest show of the season was an extra special treat. The Pleasure People and Shawn Hess came together for an amazing evening at the most enchanting little flower farm we’ve experienced.

All of Cathy’s flowers are still popping with beauty and the farm is lush and vibrant. It’s new colors and senses every time you go out to The Bloomery. With extra tickets allotted and all of them spoken for, a sold out, completely full yard made for a wonderfully festive get together.

One of the legends of songwriting in Wyoming opened the show, Shawn Hess has been traveling these dusty highways for many many years and he continues to amaze every crowd he can get to listen to his wit. It was a perfect fit seeing him play at The Bloomery, we hope to see him back soon!

No strangers to The Bloomery, The Pleasure People brought the whole band to The Bloomery Stage. The days are a bit shorter now and the evening turned to night as they played their equally enchanting tracks. The biggest show of the year felt like the tightest family that’s come together out there. There may have been a few faces missing, but everyone in attendance was exactly where they were supposed to be Saturday night.

There’s still one more chance to catch a performance at The Bloomery this year before the season is over! Don’t miss Gabriel The Bull, Sept. 27th!

Enjoy the rest of the photos from the evening!
