Generational bands that inspire families to come together through rock and roll are fewer and farther between as time passes. Often we can find the perfect song for our current mood, but Styx does something else, they make great music, that connects with us all, and makes us feel… AWESOME! They’ve been around since 1972 with frontman James ‘JY’ Young rocking the spinning keyboard and early addition Tommy Shaw rippin’ the guitar. Other bandmates have been with the band since the early 90s and the band puts on one heck of a show into the 2020s.

Jet Black Roses opened up the show with a great mix of rock covers and originals that let their talents flourish. Keep an eye out for these guys to get some shows of their own, overflowing with talent. The night was an homage to our community’s love for Rock and Roll and we sure didn’t seem like we minded coming out on a work night to see the show!
