5150′ Fest brings local favorites and Craig Campbell to David St.

The Third annual festival had vendors, food, and fun for all ages as Downtown Casper celebrates the end of summer for the kids.

This year’s 5150′ fest was a great culmination of all of the great energy that David Street Station has brought to the community the last few summers. Free from CoVID for over a year and hitting our stride as a great example of a community working together and accepting each other’s expression. Speaking with people around David Street and all the venues around town I find more and more warm souls to find common ground with at every show. From Merrily to every fine individual handing me brisket mac this summer I appreciate being rewarded for participating in my community each time.

The fest was opened by Casper’s A Band Named Sue, some of my favorite people on this planet each one of them. Nothing but kindness acceptance and a little perspective, these guys are some of the roots of our town.

‘Gabriel The Bull‘ and ‘CW & Twenty Hands High‘ brought their flavor to the middle of the day and evening. The have both played in Casper multiple times in recent memory and have built quite the local followings themselves making Casper a great spot to stop in for a glass of water.

The show was headlined by Craig Campbell, and he brought party to David Street Station. With Billy Currington playing up the hill at Ford Wyoming Center at the same time there was ample Cowboy party music on this particular Saturday night. Thanks for coming out Casper!

Here’s the rest of the photos from the fest! Sorry about Craig’s, it was real red, no fog, he stood out front out of the light/ I’m still a n00b. Ya get what ya get.
