The 10th Anniversary for Funky Junk brought all of Caspertown downtown for one of the most festive days of the year!

I think all of us knew that moving Funky Junk down to David Street Station was going to be an incredible move for the community of small businesses that have been taking over the corner of 6th and Durbin for the last decade. Whitney Asay, now Director of David Street Station once ran this whole market/festival from her small shop a few blocks away in a much quieter neighborhood. Parking and logistics were always an obstacle, this year there didn’t even need to be any porta-johns taking up any eye real estate. It seems David Street Station was made for Funky Junk to bring it’s vibe down. Music by Aquile, Rumbletunk, Zack Scott and the GREAT Patti Fiasco with over 100 local vendors set off an incredible Funky Junk, and no doubt season at David Street Station under the care of our Dear Friend Whitney!
