The Nicolaysen was dressed in it’s most wonderful decor and all of the great folks that support the arts came out in their finest and most expressive attire for one of the most enchanting evenings of the year. With an incredible silent auction featuring wonderful art from artists all around Wyoming and beyond the evening was a great occasion to socialize with some friends and peruse the art on display.

With the silent part of the auction happening all night the evening moved on to a wonderful dinner and a Live Auction hosted by our evening’s MC PrairieWifeinHeels.com‘s Cathy Holman for some INCREDIBLE local art from Cari Faye Antonovich and Ari Burback and a piece live painted by Robert Martinez on stage earlier in the night. Jessie Bell, known for creating so many wonderful murals around town was recognized with the Tom West Award for her dedication to creating a lasting impact on the museum with her art. The Casper Artists Collective was also recognized with the Above and Beyond award for their impact on art in Wyoming.

A wonderfully enchanting evening and way to raise some money for the arts in Wyoming. Supporting The Nicolaysen is never a bad call in our opinion, it’s always been a fantastic resource and place to experience a wonderful selection of Wyoming’s creativity. We want to see it thriving for A LONG TIME TO COME!
