There’s no good excuse for this being the first WHATFest I’ve ever attended. 20 years into having some of Wyoming’s best performers make their stages home it certainly has figured out how to do GOOD VIBES!

From the moment we walked up to the fest, getting camp set up with groups of friends interspersed between soon to be friends and checking out the three great stages around the grounds we knew we were home, with our people.

The day was FULL of incredible performances, we missed a couple of the openers, and maybe one act while we were playing in the river, there’s no possible way to genuinely appreciate each act fully when wandering back and forth to photograph everyone. You’ve gotta find your spots, too many people probably played in the river all weekend and never made it to the front of the stage at all. It’s a BEAUTIFUL farm on the North Platte River just outside of Saratoga, WHATFest sets it OFF one weekend a year. DON’T MISS WHATFest 21! We’ll see ya there!
Enjoy ALL of the photos from DAY ONE! (Sorry no organization other than time)
