Summer begins at our favorite little magic farm

The Bloomery has come alive, not through magic, but through Cathy, Randy and the whole family's efforts to capture the essence of everything they do and distill it into SIX wonderful concerts this summer.

Every time we show up for the first concert of the season at The Bloomery we can’t help but think back to that first post COVID summer of life and regrowth that lead me to finding this shining example of how to celebrate our strongest qualities. The way the vibes, community, and GREAT music come together to create something nothing short of mesmerizing never stops astounding me.

A wooden gate leading into a garden, framed by an arbor with hanging flower pots. The scene features lush greenery and a pathway, with a distant view of a field and clouds in the sky.
A group of six people standing in front of a colorful vintage van, surrounded by trees. The individuals are dressed in a mix of casual and western-style clothing, smiling at the camera.

The first concert of the season brought one of our favorite music men traveling the Great State of Wyoming. Shawn Hess blends his wonderful brand of storytelling with a homage to the Wyoming way of life that’s resonated with all of us that call this place home. This time around he brought the whole 500lb Band and thee RADDEST lil tour bus this side of the North Platte. Which side is that? We dunno, it sorta wanders through the area doesn’t it…

A musician wearing a cowboy hat and camouflage shirt performs with an acoustic guitar on an outdoor stage decorated with flowers, while a drummer plays in the background.
A smiling man in a cowboy hat and military-style jacket stands in a garden, with blurred figures in the background.
A live music performance with musicians on stage playing instruments, while an audience enjoys the show in a natural outdoor setting surrounded by trees.

The next opportunity to catch a concert at The Bloomery is July 11th for North Fork Crossing, I certainly won’t miss it, if you haven’t gotten out to The Bloomery yet I highly suggest checking it out sooner than later.

Believe in MAGIC, value the effort that’s gone in to creating it. Protect your innocence, wonder, whimsy and pursue joy every day.

Enjoy the photos from the evening!
