Friday night at Oil City Beer Co. was electrified by a couple of southern Wyoming’s finest rock outfits. Prowler from Cheyenne and Shotgun Shogun from Laramie ventured north to Casper to play a gig with Brandon Schulte’s solo act ‘Hospital Property’. I sadly didn’t make it to the show in time to catch Hospital Property. Prowler’s three piece power was ferocious and tight, you can tell these guys know each other well.
Shotgun Shogun came back to Oil City Beer Co. with an extra bassist and plenty of energy. Their ability to take someone on a journey through time, space and aggression is art at it’s finest. Thanks for the show Oil City, Prowler, Shotgun Shogun, and Brandon for being the dude with the beating heart at the center of it all.
