This past weekend’s balloon fest was brought to it’s finale at David Street Station with a performance by Mastermind of Monkey. With at least one morning of launches bringing the beautiful spectacle to the sky Casper was treated to a weekend of whimsy for the sky.
Down at the station the crowd was treated to ice cream, face painting, and the sweet tunes of Casper’s Mastermind of Monkey. One of the final times we’ll get to catch the band as they stand and as their youthful members venture out into their destinies.
The rain and weather came in just about the time the sun had set enough for the flames to be seen on the sky but the crowd had been touring the baskets of the balloons for hours, success if I’m allowed to say so.
