Oil City Beer Co has gotten to relish in it’s identity as the town’s home for hardcore music without the likes of GWAR and The Bronx stopping into The Gaslight this year. All the venues around here have been doing their finest to bring in a great variety of sounds and Wyoming Out Loud appreciates all the tunes undoubtedly. BUT Oil City Beer Co has brought together a fine establishment for freedom of expression and togetherness with family that is unmatched most nights in our community. One of the most recent and finest examples of such an event is the Ladies Of Metal that came through last Friday.
A Vintage Future opened the show for Japan’s Kazha and the completely intimidating Living Dead Girl. Every band brought a completely unique and fresh taste to the stage and the whole thing was a ride nobody wanted off.
This show was a fantastic example of the possibilities and opportunities around here. Women have no reason to doubt their abilities to destroy a stage here in the equality state. Wyoming Out Loud is there to support it!
