Nearly a year after illness postponed Hozier’s first attempt at bringing the Unreal Earth World Tour through Casper we were finally treated to one of the most heart felt and intimate performances we’ve experienced at the Ford Wyoming Center to date. Hozier’s Unreal Earth Tour has been enchanting audiences all around the globe for years now, 3 summers at some of the world’s best venues and he didn’t miss a beat playing the big barn in Wyoming.
As announced and expected lines were long when the doors opened, with a little warning and preparation the crowd was in good spirits and moving quickly through the doors or MANY Hozier merch lines. It’s good for everyone’s economy when we can fill Ford Wyoming Center up on a week day, we’d love to see it happen more.
Another incredible band out of Ireland opened up the show. Amble was powerful, driven and melodic. Hearing a refreshing accent and feeling the beat of a band that’s been on their own grand adventure made us all feel at home for our trip through this Unreal Earth.
Seeing Ford Wyoming Center so close to packed on a weekday is no small feat, after Cody Jinks two days ago, and CNFR the week before, it’s been all gas no brakes up on the hill for everyone involved. Hozier’s show brings about a culmination of a lot of hard work and determination.
Many folks from all around have been impatiently waiting for this show and seeing it all go so smoothly and hearing y’all sing every word makes it ALL worth it. This community deserves to have incredible shows and happenings all week, every week, all summer. We’ll just try to keep a good thing goin’.
