There’s not a better way to cap off an incredible Funky Junk Saturday than with a great reggae show at The Gaslight Social. After a warmup set at David Street Station, Brandon Hardesty joined his band the Bumpin’ Uglies to play one of their first shows since their new album ‘Crawling Up The Wall’ launched on Friday!

Saturday night was kicked off by Josh Heinrichs, a one man powerhouse in the reggae scene. This guy has been pumping out JAMS for decades and having him open the show was certainly an indication of how great the music was going to be ALL NIGHT!

Longtime Caspertown friends and family, The Bumpin’ Uglies just released a new album and are hitting the road with a fresh setlist and a great list of new tracks to try on crowds across the country. Having serenaded the whole town and having one of the best ‘kid pits’ David Street Station has had all summer the show was ready for a turn to the raucous. Introducing the world to the live version of ‘Crown’ and connecting deeply with the crowd made for this to be one of the most special appearances by one of our favorite bands to come through Ol WYO. Bumpin’ Uglies for LIFE!

The show was finished off by Fortunate Youth, an incredible band bringing a great set of tunes to the stage! Powerful vocals and a bunch of dudes all vying for your attention on stage. It’s certainly a vibe. That’s a little thrown off when they blocked off side stage VIP tables and made me move all my stuff sending us out into the crowd and sorta killin’ the mojo. Strange for a shared love, relaxed evening all around, but we know we were all there for the Bumpin’ Uglies anyway.

Thanks for comin’ out Caspertown! Enjoy the rest of the photos from the show!
