Punk Rock fans from all around the region gathered in Casper, Wyoming for one of the most looked forward to tours out there. The Dropkick Murphys brought their St. Patrick’s Day tour along with The Scratch, and Pennywise to the Ford Wyoming Center.
The Scratch brought a sound and style not usually seen on this side of the pond, let alone here in Wyoming. A fantastic energy and presence warmed up the center on a raucous Tuesday night!

Punk Rock legends Pennywise took over the stage next and we got to do a punk rock mosh pit up in the big house! Every song was an anthem to the punk bleeding heart in my chest, from ‘Straight Ahead’ to ‘Fuck Authority’ through an energetic rendition of The Ramones ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’ and ending with the ballad of ‘Bro Hymn’ I almost couldn’t wait to get done taking photos and join my people in the pit..

There’s really something special about a Dropkick Murphys show this time of year, the energy that they give the beginning of the year. The spirit of the music letting us know we’ll fight on for another year. The crowd at Ford Wyoming Center felt it, and was ready to party on a work night. A Tuesday night which may not be topped for a very long time in great Caspertown.
