The scenery of northern Wyoming is the perfect backdrop for a growing mountain bike scene and host to whats become one of the premier races for riders of all skill levels to take in our state’s beauty. The Dead Swede offers riders from Wyoming a great opportunity to compete with some of the best in mountain biking, and an ability to not take yourselves so seriously along the way.

The race culminates in a grand festivus at Kendrick Park in Sheridan, WY. This park seems purpose built for hosting a large group of cyclists. The paths are wonderful and the park expands to a great band shell and wilderness area that was a beautiful home for everyone to relax in after all of the miles on the trail.

The after party was set off by performances from The Nate Champion Band and Jalan Crossland, names we’re pretty familiar with in Wyoming and great friends to Wyoming Out Loud it was great to see them doing more wonderful community outreach at a WONDERFUL event.

We can’t wait to see what they come up with for #10! One of the most fun days we’ve had in recent memory!
Enjoy the rest of the photos from the day!
