Casper was in for a treat when ‘In This Moment’ and ‘Motionless in White’s Dark Horizon Tour stopped through town on a Friday night even! Fans of heavy music were called from all corners of the state to bring their darkest and rowdiest. ‘From Ashes to New’ and ‘Fit For a King’ opened the show with a ton of energy and stellar on stage performances.
Stationed at the soundboard long lens in hand, I was still acclimating for the first few bands and really failed at capturing the essence at how energetic and fun Fit For a King was. Keep an eye out for both bands to do big things in the future!
In This Moment brought the signature performance fans have come to expect, visceral, evocative, dark, smokey and plenty of FIRE. The real highlight of the show.
Motionless in White ended the evening and brought the party out for the long time fans that have seen the band grow throughout the times.
The whole show was laden with powerhouses in the genre and everyone in attendance was treated to a delight of pyrotechnics and heavy music. Keep an eye out for more from these bands and at Ford Wyoming Center for the rest of the summer!
