Whitney Peyton takes over Oil City Beer Co. with new sounds

A full night of hip-hop took over the brewery with talent at every level sharing the stage!

One of Wyoming’s homes for new music experiences has been reliably Oil City Beer Company. They’re incredibly open to fresh sounds from all over the world. Some of the most exciting and intriguing experiences we’ve had in the last 5 years have been in this humble brewery. A couple weeks ago, Whitney Peyton got her chance to rock the crowd at Oil City and the vibes were no doubt WAY UP.

We don’t often get a night of rap/hip-hop around here so it was great to see the fans come out and have a real good time. A full lineup of artists out there putting on a show. Local heart backing an up and coming touring artist trying to spread the vibe to uncharted territory. Just what’s supposed to be happening at Oil City Beer CO!

When Whitney Peyton came out the kids and the crowd kicked it up to 11 and made sure the evening felt right for everyone. The crowd interaction, the use of the space. The joy on the kid’s faces and the energy in the room all went past our expectations and we’re stoked to see more hip-hop around Caspertown!

Jake Hoffman is the Founder and Lead Photographer for Wyoming Out Loud. A long time music reliant individual since the days riding the bus to school with the walkman. Music has found it's way to bridge all of the human expression and emotion together and turn me into an alright guy, still mostly a nerd with a camera as a safety blanket but fully appreciative of the human condition.
