The WHATFest is something else. Something magic in the middle of America. Something that has evolved to become one of the most enchanting weekends for friends and family of Wyoming music to come together and unwind.

A group of four people sitting in camping chairs partially submerged in a stream, enjoying a relaxing day outdoors.
A vibrant campground scene at a music festival, featuring people gathered around tents, with some playing guitar, others engaging in activities, and a child doing a handstand on a grassy area.

Day Two kicked off at noon on the Singer Songwriter stage and by 12:45 Saturday was off and running. The river full of free spirit and the forest bustling with people walking to their preferred performance. To the wonderful people that allow the use of their land, Roger, Sondra and family, Thank you for this little slice of heaven.

Two people enjoying a peaceful moment in a river surrounded by greenery, with one child playing and holding money.
A woman smiles while blowing bubbles outdoors near a river, with soft sunset lighting and green grass surrounding her.
Two people speaking on stage with microphones at a music festival event, surrounded by lights and musical instruments.

As day turned to night a proclamation from Governor Gordon was read acknowledging the efforts and accomplishments of The WHATFest. Equally importantly Roger and Sondra gave their blessing to all of the weirdos in the crowd to keep doing what we do best, and to have an incredibly RARE and beautiful campfire on their land. TRULY a blessing not lost on anyone I saw at the fire, one of the most joyous occasions we’ve had the pleasure of being a part of.

Governor's proclamation recognizing WHAT Fest's 20th anniversary, detailing its growth and impact on community, creativity, and support for local artists.

We did a little organization for day two, but it’s an OVERWHELMING amount of RAD
