Monday night at The Lincoln was a scenario I didn’t precisely know what I was getting myself into. Wyoming Out Loud’s third trip to the beautiful gem of a venue in Southeast WYO, Cheyenne has a really incredible resource for performance and community gathering at The Lincoln! Getting to see the venue host a pretty niche metal band on a Monday night brought some variables I hadn’t encountered and the floor might not have been quite as packed as some nights but the atmosphere was still incredible. People KNOW they’re going to a top-notch production when they show up to The Lincoln.

Monday’s show was opened up by Cheyenne’s own Violent Testimony. These dudes brought forth a set that was brutal from the jump, a wildly fun, in your face vocalist that brought an incredible snarl to the stage. Great to see another fantastic Wyoming metal band rock the stage.

Prophet’s Tomb from Denver took the stage next with a whole different vibe. Heavy musicality, great production and some rippers at all positions made this show a great feast for the senses. Excited to see what this turns into!

New Orleans Louisiana’s Kings of Crust ‘EYEHATEGOD’ needed no introduction for all of those in attendance at The Lincoln on a Monday night. They might even send out a warning letter a week before an EYEHATEGOD show, it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s a visceral, guttural, humbling experience. The music deals with your depression head on, calling out the demons in the room and telling them all to GTFO, for those few hours we weren’t there for any of life’s BS, we were with our friends, rockin’, in one of the greatest rooms in Ol WYO.

Thanks for jammin’ WYO, enjoy the rest of the photos from the show!
