Practically a holiday around here by now is the day HAIRBALL stops in to let us know summer is a PARTY! 2025 also brings 25 years of HAIRBALL so it’s no doubt that the energy was high and the show was moving a mile a minute as soon as they took the stage!
Once again a group of Casper’s finest rockers opened the show, Sidetrack need little introduction around here. They’ve been playing in bands around here together and with other great musicians around here since before so many of those hairs were gray. We certainly don’t hold it against ’em, they’re RAD dudes and FANTASTIC musicians, ROCK MODE ENGAGED.
Hairball’s 25th Anniversary Tour doesn’t depart far from what we’ve come to know and love and that’s because it works! The amount of rotating parts and change overs in a Hairball show is mesmerizing, and all of the fans of the great hair bands of the 80’s were roaring from the first burst of flame.
This is a bit of a mega-post as it’s impossible to not overshoot a Hairball show, there’s still many forms of the band I didn’t capture, some things are best left for the live experience.
